Our Services

At Association of Behavior Consultants, Inc., we are dedicated to providing individualized and community-based behavioral support programs tailored to the diverse needs of our clients.

Each of our services is designed to empower individuals, strengthen families, and promote independence. Our programs are divided by focus areas and regional coverage, ensuring that every client receives the right support in the right setting.

Young adults and older
Sonoma, Napa, Solano Area

The No Barriers program provides specialized one-to-one services that address a wide range of client needs and conditions. Our consultants work closely with each individual to set meaningful goals and identify the steps required to achieve them. Services often include:

  • Transportation into the community to help clients practice and meet personal goals.
  • Assistance with education and preparation for employment opportunities.
  • Ongoing counseling and behavioral guidance to foster independence.
  • Support in identifying and participating in engaging community activities.

This program is divided into three regional service areas based on county lines: Sonoma, Napa, and Solano.

The Opportunities Unlimited program focuses on community integration through group services that highlight employment readiness, social development, and community-based behavioral goals. Key services include:

  • Group-based community integration opportunities.
  • Employment-focused skills training and readiness.
  • Behavioral goal development supported within community activities.

This program operates across three regional areas: Ukiah, Willits, and Lake County.

Ages 0-5 and their parents
Sonoma, Marin, San Francisco Area

The Special Start program provides critical support to infants and their families, focusing on developmental milestones during the earliest and most important years. Services are provided by master's level professionals and certified specialists, with an emphasis on:

  • Speech therapy to promote early communication skills.
  • Parent counseling to strengthen family involvement and support.
  • Behaviorally driven plans tailored to each child's developmental needs.

This program serves families in Sonoma, Marin, and San Francisco counties.

Teens to adults
Sonoma Area

The SOAR program takes a comprehensive "wrap-around" approach to supporting clients' mental and physical well-being. Designed to foster self-advocacy and relationship-building skills, this program equips individuals with tools to thrive in social and personal environments. Areas of focus include:

  • Education and therapy aimed at improving mental health and resilience.
  • Adaptive skills training for navigating social cues and building trust.
  • Guidance on recognizing risks, understanding warnings, and self-advocating in daily life.

SOAR primarily serves Sonoma County through the North Bay Regional Center (NBRC).
