Sonoma Area
The SOAR program takes a comprehensive "wrap-around" approach to supporting clients' mental and physical well-being. Designed to foster self-advocacy and relationship-building skills, this program equips individuals with tools to thrive in social and personal environments. Areas of focus include:
- Education and therapy aimed at improving mental health and resilience.
- Adaptive skills training for navigating social cues and building trust.
- Comprehensive, medically-accurate, inclusive sexuality and relationship education to navigate friendships, dating, and adult life safely and joyfully.
SOAR primarily serves Sonoma County through the North Bay Regional Center (NBRC).
